Anduril Industries is looking for an Industrial Space Planner to enhance and optimize layouts for R&D and production spaces in Costa Mesa, CA. This role involves extensive collaboration with stakeholders to forecast space needs and develop facility plans using CAD tools.
The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing environments, strong stakeholder management skills, and proficiency in space planning software. A competitive salary of $99,000 to $130,000 is part of the offer.
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s Space Planning team is seeking an Industrial Space Planner to join the team. The Space Planning team is responsible for optimizing layouts and designs for R&D facilities, ensuring efficient workflows, and minimizing wasted space, all while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
As an Industrial Space Planner, you will conduct site assessments and develop detailed space plans collaborating with various stakeholders across the business. The right candidate has a history of managing multiple projects providing creative solutions that will optimize efficiency.
We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Industrial Space Planner to design, optimize, and scale our physical footprint. In this role, you will bridge the gap between engineering requirements and physical facility solutions across manufacturing and highly dynamic R&D/prototyping environments. You will partner directly with Division Leads to understand and forecast their business unit space needs, and collaborate closely with Industrial Engineers to design and validate optimized layouts.
Unlike traditional facilities roles, you will not simply document space requests; you will critically analyze, challenge, and validate them. You will ensure our manufacturing, R&D laboratories, and production environments are optimized for efficiency, safety, flexibility, and scalability.
$99,000 — $130,000 USD
