Job summary

Milwaukee Machine Tool is seeking an Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain software applications for our clients in Milwaukee. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions, with a focus on architecture and data management.

You'll work with MySQL for database tasks and explore emerging technologies and quantum engineering concepts as needed, contributing to documentation and best practices across projects.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of solution architecture principles and practices.
• Experience with vulnerability management techniques and tools.
• Understanding of quantum engineering concepts is desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• All product inquiries including sizing, quoting, and closing of sale.
• Collaborate with customers to gather and analyze requirements for new applications or enhancements.
• Implement solution architecture best practices to enhance application security and reliability.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and manage vulnerabilities within applications.
• Utilize MySQL for database management and data manipulation tasks.
• Engage in quantum engineering projects as required, applying advanced computational techniques.
• Maintain documentation of application development processes, including design specifications and user manuals.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve application capabilities.
• Knowledge of linear and metal cutting applications.
