Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Huntley, IL is seeking a mechanically inclined assembler to build and test industrial sewing machines on a first shift. This Temp-to-Hire role starts at $19.00 per hour and runs 5am-3pm with three possible start times; the job requires attention to detail and the use of small hand and power tools.

You'll assemble machines, fit parts to close tolerances, mount equipment, run tests, and troubleshoot.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Previous assembly experience required.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience using small hand and power tools.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Overtime may be required; blueprint reading is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial sewing machines and related components.
• Fit and align parts to close tolerances and operating requirements.
• Mount and connect auxiliary mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Perform operating tests, adjustments, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Use small hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks accurately.
