Job summary

Vecta Environmental Services, a leader in industrial cleaning, is seeking an Industrial Services Technician for our Jacksonville, FL area. This hands-on role involves field work at customer sites, performing cleaning, waste handling, and equipment operation while following strict safety standards.

The position requires physical endurance, flexibility for variable shifts, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work in industrial environments including confined spaces and elevated areas.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs with or without assistance.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial services work including, but not limited to: industrial cleaning, tank cleaning, confined space entry support, vacuum truck and related equipment support, waste handling and material removal.
• Assist with setup, operation, and teardown of job sites.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, hoses, pumps, and related industrial equipment.
• Load, unload, and secure equipment, materials, and waste containers.
• Follow all safety protocols, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and site-specific requirements.
• Wear required PPE at all times and enforce safety standards within the crew.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and site contacts.
• Complete required documentation such as job tickets, safety forms, and time records.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites, vehicles, and equipment.
• Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or incidents immediately.
• Support other divisions or service lines as operational needs require.
