Job summary

Global Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) seeks a Class B Environmental Commercial Operator in Florida to support environmental services and emergency response. You will drive vacuum trucks, tankers, and other heavy vehicles, with roughly 80% field work and 20% CDL operations.

This role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and teamwork, with mandatory endorsements, a clean driving record, and a DOT medical certificate.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements.
• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
• Clean driving record for the past three years.
• Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Class B Environmental Commercial Operator

As a Class A Environmental Commercial Operator, you\'ll spend approximately 80% of your time assisting with environmental services and 20% operating a CDL vehicle, including emergency response, industrial cleaning, waste transportation, and site remediation.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate vacuum trucks, roll-off trucks, tractor-trailers, tankers, and dump trucks
• Support environmental response and industrial service projects
• Conduct vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Comply with DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Represent GEIR professionally while working with customers and project teams

Work Schedule & Highlights

• Primarily local routes with occasional overnight travel
• Weekly overtime opportunities
• 24/7 on-call rotation and occasional weekend work required
• Shifts may exceed eight hours based on project demands and emergency response needs
