Job summary

Guidehouse Inc. is seeking an Industrial Security professional to support security records and compliance with federal and Guidehouse standards in the San Antonio area.

You will manage sponsorship documentation, indoctrinations, debriefs, DD 254 submissions, and security education briefings while coordinating with program staff on classification and policy interpretation. A Secret clearance and strong detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor's Degree; Four (4) years additional related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• ONE (1) or more years' industrial security experience preferred for federal contracts.
• Strong prioritization, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Provide sponsorship documentation, indoctrinations, and debriefs; submit DD 254s and security education briefings.
• Perform classification management and policy interpretation for program staff.
• Interface with customers at multiple levels on security, clearances, and related incidents.
• Support quarterly forums, annual inspections, and government reviews; sponsorships and consultant agreements.
• Develop and implement procedures to maintain security files per federal and Guidehouse standards.
• Interact with cognizant security offices and clients on security requirements and statuses.
• Assist with day-to-day Industrial Security operations, self-inspections, and assessments.
• Collaborate across Guidehouse management levels.

What You Will Do :

Guidehouse Security Operations function is responsible for implementing policies regarding Security records and developing and implementing procedures to maintain adherence to both Federal and Guidehouse standards.

• Provide critical personnel security support to the program, including sponsorship documentation, indoctrinations, debriefs, creation and submission of DD 254s, security education awareness briefings, annual security briefings, visit requests and personnel requests for clearance.
• Provide specific classification management and policy interpretation to program personnel and management.
• Provide direct customer liaison; interface with customer at various levels on issues associated with closed areas, program directives, clearances, visit requests, classification management, security incidents/violations (investigation, reporting, corrective action), subcontracts, and ad hoc issues.
• Contribute to other department requirements, including but not limited to: quarterly forums, annual inspections and government reviews, facility clearance sponsorship and consultant agreements.
• Implement Guidehouse policies regarding Security records and develop and implement procedures to maintain and assure files meet both Federal and Guidehouse standards.
• Directly interact with cognizant security offices and clients regarding security requirements, issues and statuses.
• Assist Industrial Security team in day-to-day operations including self-inspections and assessments, assist with managing employee personnel security processes, as well as other duties as assigned.
• Interact with multiple levels of Guidehouse management.

What You Will Need :

• An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET security clearance
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's Degree; Four (4) years additional related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• ONE (1) or more years' industrial security experience supporting federal contracts preferred
• Ability to manage large workloads

What Would Be Nice To Have :

• Prior experience working with Department of War, Department of State Bureaus, Department of Justice, Department of Homeland Security and component agencies, and/or their offices.
• An ACTIVE and CURRENT TOP SECRET security clearance or higher
• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Experience supporting an Industrial Security management team within a professional services organization
