Job summary

Building Services of America is hiring a janitor in Glenview, IL. Work Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on-site. Salary: $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include sanitizing spaces and equipment, coordinating with maintenance to avoid production disruption, and ensuring waste disposal adheres to regulations. Minimum requirements: high school diploma or equivalent, experience in industrial cleaning, knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety regulations, and ability to work independently

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in industrial sanitation or cleaning.
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols and cleaning agents.
• Understanding of safety regulations.
• Attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sanitization and disinfection of common spaces and equipment.
• Coordinate cleaning with maintenance to avoid production disruption.
• Perform sanitation tasks to meet regulatory standards.
• Proper waste disposal in line with guidelines and regulations.
• Sort and dispose of waste materials per procedures.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and PPE.
• Store and handle supplies safely per regulations.
• Adhere to environmental regulations to minimize impact.
• Enforce safety protocols and use PPE as required.
• Clean and sanitize office spaces and restrooms.
