Job summary

C&B Piping, LLC in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an Industrial Sandblaster to prepare surfaces by removing rust and coatings using abrasive blasting. You will ensure ductile iron and steel parts are cleaned and ready for coating according to our quality and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong safety awareness, ability to read a measuring tape, and comfort with lifting up to 50+ lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in an industrial sandblasting environment is a plus.
• Strong safety awareness for yourself and others, no exceptions.
• Must be able to read a measuring tape and use basic mathematical skills.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces.
• Inspect materials before and after blasting to ensure surfaces meet quality standards.
• Load and position parts safely within blasting area and equipment.
• Maintain proper blasting pressure and abrasive levels.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear proper PPE.
• Support other production or finishing tasks as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping of the blasting area and equipment.
• Report equipment issues, defects, or safety concerns.
• Assist with materials using forklifts or other equipment when required.
