Moon Fabricating Corp is seeking a Rubber Lining Technician in Kokomo, IN, performing precision rubber lining and coating on industrial equipment. You will prepare substrates, apply adhesives, and complete spark tests for a reliable corrosion barrier.

Qualifications

• 3 years of mechanical experience or related industrial field work.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 70 lbs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with technical specifications.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to Kokomo facility and field sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal substrates through sandblasting to ensure adhesion for protective linings.
• Apply adhesives and hand-cut rubber stock with high attention to detail.
• Perform spark testing on lined equipment to verify integrity of corrosion barrier.
• Inspect interiors of industrial vessels to identify wear and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Field Operations to execute lining projects safely in confined spaces.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and follow safety procedures.
• Adapt to changing project dynamics to ensure equipment is serviced efficiently.
