Job summary

Indicon LLC seeks a motivated Technician/Technologist to support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial automation systems. The role collaborates with engineers, electricians, and customers to deliver automation solutions for manufacturing facilities.

The candidate will assist with PLC-controlled equipment, control panels, conveyors, tooling systems, and vision systems, leveraging hands-on experience across field service and industrial automation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical certification preferred or equivalent experience.
• Relevant industrial experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, startup, commissioning, and validation of automated control systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, controls, and automation issues on production equipment.
• Perform panel checkout, I/O verification, and wiring validation.
• Support PLC, HMI, VFD, barcode, scanner, and vision system integration.
• Read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Contribute to equipment modifications and continuous improvement initiatives.
