Project Overview

Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a liquefied natural gas (LNG) production and export facility on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. The project scope includes two identical LNG trains, two LNG storage tanks, one LNG carrier berth, and associated utilities and facilities. The facility will be built on land located at State Highway 87 south of Port Arthur, between the inner coastal waterway bridge and Keith Lake. The Infrastructure Global Business Unit (GBU) is executing site civil and marine scopes of work for this energy GBU LNG project.

Job Summary

Assists the Industrial Relations Lead and supports Industrial Relations representatives in performing and coordinating the Industrial Relations function on a field project. Responsibilities include data entry, maintenance of employee files, research, and documentation support. The role provides onsite office support and performs administrative tasks related to Industrial Relations, maintaining regular contact with the craft workforce, the general public, and project supervision.

Major Responsibilities
  • Assists with onsite new hire arrivals of the required manual workforce, collecting documentation for per diem, ensuring setup with ESS, and providing general information during onboarding and site transition.
  • Assists with preparation and submission of required documentation for government and/or client project requirements, including I‑9, employment verifications, background submittals, and pre‑employment processing.
  • Verifies credentials for authenticity, checks completeness of onboarding packages, and inputs data for accreditations as needed.
  • Runs reports for document expirations and supports follow‑up activities to maintain compliance.
  • Assists with RPA processes for onsite promotions or classification changes by entering data as provided by the Industrial Relations Representative.
  • Supports craft professional evaluation processes by tracking, maintaining, and organizing related data; monitors completion, notifies supervision of overdue evaluations, and assists supervisors with training and resolving system issues.
  • Performs data entry to maintain Industrial Relations automation tools and reports, ensuring information is current and accurate.
  • Assists with updating Industrial Relations training and orientation materials for craft professionals and supervisors.
  • Maintains coordination with Industrial Relations representatives to support compliance with project/work rules and applicable labor and equal employment/affirmative action laws.
  • Provides general administrative support, research, and data collection as needed.
Education And Experience Requirements
  • Prior experience and/or basic knowledge of Industrial Relations or Human Resources functions on field projects or in an office or administrative environment. Experience with SAP/HRMS tools and applications preferred.
Required Knowledge And Skills
  • Skills in written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to support research and reporting efforts, including collection of data.
  • Demonstrated skill in word processing, spreadsheet applications, and data entry.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.
