Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to repair, maintain, and support industrial refrigeration equipment for our diverse client base across North America. You will work with ammonia and CO2 systems, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical controls.

The role requires travel and physical endurance; safety is a priority. The position involves climbing, respirator use, 10–12 hour shifts, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; HVAC tech school preferred.
  • Universal EPA certification OR ability to obtain is required.
  • RETA 1&2 certification preferred.
  • Motor alignment experience is a plus.
  • The position is safety-sensitive with pre-employment and regular drug testing.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintenance support for industrial refrigeration equipment at accounts.
  • Perform routine and emergency service on ammonia and Freon systems.
  • Troubleshoot compressors, electrical systems, and control/alarm systems.
  • Adhere to safety policies and governing requirements.
