IRG Realty Advisors in Miami, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician – HVAC & Ammonia Refrigeration to support our industrial property. You will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ammonia refrigeration systems under supervision of the Operations Manager.

This role offers hands-on training in a specialized field, opportunities to grow technical expertise, and involvement in the site’s preventive maintenance and safety programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical degree, trade certification or equivalent preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Experience in industrial maintenance or HVAC preferred.
• Willingness to learn ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance and repair of industrial ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Record operating temperatures and pressures accurately.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability.
• Learn ammonia refrigeration systems through hands-on training.
• Coordinate with contractors, ensure quality and compliance.
• Assist in budgeting and maintenance planning.
• Support on-call rotations and safety procedures.
