Job summary

TDI Refrigeration is seeking an experienced HVACR technician to diagnose, service, repair, and maintain industrial refrigeration and HVACR systems in commercial and industrial settings. Aurora, CO location with travel to customer sites required.

You will work on ammonia and synthetic refrigeration systems, perform compressor work, troubleshoot controls, and build strong customer relationships while delivering high-quality service and documentation in SimPRO.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of HVACR experience.
• EPA 608 Certification required.
• Ability to diagnose and repair commercial/industrial refrigeration equipment.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to learn ammonia refrigeration through company training.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication with customers, vendors, and team.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to diagnose, service, repair, and maintain industrial refrigeration and HVACR systems
• Perform hot and cold compressor and motor alignments
• Repair and maintain reciprocating, scroll, rotary, and screw compressors
• Troubleshoot refrigeration systems using electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic testing equipment
• Install wiring and electrical connections for refrigeration equipment and controls
• Test lines, components, and connections for leaks
• Perform commissioning and startup of ammonia and synthetic refrigeration systems
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through professional service and communication
• Complete work orders, service documentation, and timecards accurately within the SimPRO system
• Maintain company vehicle, truck stock, tools, and equipment in a clean and organized condition
