Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced industrial refrigeration technician to support maintenance and repair for large-scale ammonia and CO2 cooling systems across North America.

You will diagnose issues, perform routine service, and ensure safe operation of equipment from 100 HP to 5,000 HP in food, beverage, and cold storage facilities. The role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience, EPA certification, and strong electrical/controls knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial refrigeration systems
• Knowledge of controls and electric (high and low voltage)
• Universal EPA certification
• Motor alignment experience
• RETA 1&2 certification preferred
• Tobacco-free workplace policy
• Pre-employment drug and background screenings
• Safety-sensitive position requiring drug testing

Responsibilities

• Refrigeration repair and maintenance support for industrial accounts (100 HP–5,000 HP)
• Perform routine and emergency service on ammonia and Freon equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical/controls issues and perform inspections
• Adhere to all safety policies and governing requirements
