Job summary

TMD Staffing is hiring several Machine Operators for the Houston area (77040). The roles involve operating machines to bend, cut, and band rebar materials, with outdoor work in varying conditions.

Two shifts are available: AM 5:30am-2:30pm and PM 2:30pm-11pm, Monday-Friday, with Saturday flexibility. Pay is $16/hour on the AM shift and $17/hour on the PM shift, reflecting shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Previous working experience in construction, industrial, manufacturing and/or production environment.
• Experience with sheet metals, rebar, and steel is a plus.
• Work outside in various environmental conditions such as extreme heat, noise, and dust.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Machine Operator is responsible for running machines to bend, cut, and band rebar materials, must be comfortable moving rebar that is 2 ft to 64 feet in length.
