Job summary

Alstom in Kanona, NY is seeking an Industrial Quality Controler to ensure the highest standards of product integrity and operational excellence across rail mobility projects.

You will collaborate with production, engineering and supply chain teams to align quality objectives, monitor reliability through inspection and testing, and drive the adoption of digital quality analytics and ISO 9001 compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing Quality Control tools and problem-solving tools.
• 2-3 years experience in railway environment, preferred.
• Understanding of manufacturing documentation, control plans, and non-conformance reports.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and apply GD&T principles.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and digital quality management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Ensure scalability of quality processes through continuous improvement and Lean methodologies.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to align quality objectives and resolve issues efficiently.
• Monitor reliability through inspection, testing, and validation.
• Drive innovation by implementing digital inspection systems and data-driven quality analytics.
• Promote knowledge sharing by training teams on quality standards, ISO 9001 compliance, and best practices.
