Job summary

Industrial Service Solutions (ISS) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead industrial projects in Houston, TX. You will oversee initiatives from inception to completion, coordinating internal teams, vendors, and clients to deliver on time, within scope and on budget.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field, with 2+ years’ experience in industrial project management; PMP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, project management, or related field.
• Certifications: PMP Certification or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience in project management within industrial environments.
• Skills & Knowledge: Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera); experience with ERP systems for procurement and financial reporting; familiarity with dredging, shredders, pumps/pump controls, oil and gas, wastewater, power generation, structural fabrication.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities; problem-solving and risk management; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate internal resources and third-party contractors/vendors.
• Oversee procurement processes to ensure cost-effective and timely material delivery.
• Monitor and report project performance, including risks and financials, to senior management.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
• Promote continuous improvement by enhancing project management processes.
