Job summary

GrayWolf is seeking a Project Engineer to support a range of heavy industrial projects across GA, AL, IN, SC, and NC. The role is full-time on the project site and aims to develop toward project management, interfacing with owners, engineers, field supervision and suppliers.

You will review designs, oversee field activities, and ensure work aligns with contract documents, schedules and budgets, while coordinating with multiple teams and documenting progress.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management with 4+ years in multidisciplinary construction.
  • Experience in scheduling and project controls; cost tracking, RFI, take-offs/quantities, estimating will be key.
  • NCCER Certifications and OSHA 10/30 are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with owners, engineers, and estimators to prepare or validate estimates, scopes of work, and contracts.
  • Review design drawings and 3D BIM models for accuracy and coordinate resolution of discrepancies with stakeholders.
  • Provide field oversight to ensure installations meet contract documents, quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Coordinate construction activities with Owners, Engineers, or OEMs and other trade partners.
  • Manage RFI process with engineers/architects and client; maintain logs and documentation.
