Aerotek is seeking Industrial Painters and Blasters to work at a wind turbine manufacturing facility in Pueblo, CO. The role focuses on sandblasting, surface prep, and applying industrial coatings to large steel towers, with opportunities for overtime and shift-based pay.

The position is contract-to-hire with Day or Night shifts, offering stable manufacturing work and a pathway to long-term employment within a growing renewable energy sector.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial painting, blasting, sandblasting, paint preparation, manufacturing, or production environments.
• Experience operating spray guns, paint sprayers, blasting equipment, or similar industrial tools.
• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Sandblasting and surface preparation of steel components.
• Removing rust, scale, paint, and other contaminants using abrasive blasting equipment.
• Applying industrial coatings using spray guns and painting equipment.
• Preparing surfaces through sanding, grinding, cleaning, and masking.
• Inspecting finished surfaces to ensure quality and coating standards are met.
• Performing touch-ups and rework as needed.
• Maintaining equipment and keeping work areas clean and organized.
• Following all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Working closely with production teams to meet manufacturing goals.

Pay & Schedule

$20.00 – $23.00/hour Pay is based on shift, position assignment, and relevant experience.

Available Shifts:

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Overtime opportunities available.

What You’ll Do

As an Industrial Painter or Blaster, you’ll play a key role in preparing and finishing large steel wind turbine towers that will be used across the country. Responsibilities may include:

• Sandblasting and surface preparation of steel components
• Removing rust, scale, paint, and other contaminants using abrasive blasting equipment
• Applying industrial coatings using spray guns and painting equipment
• Preparing surfaces through sanding, grinding, cleaning, and masking
• Inspecting finished surfaces to ensure quality and coating standards are met

What We’re Looking For

Pay and Benefits
