Job summary

Polymer Concepts Technologies PBY, Inc. in Hanover, PA is seeking an Industrial Production Planner to develop and implement production schedules for industrial products, ensuring on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels.

You will coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Sales to balance capacity and demand across multiple product lines. The role requires 3+ years in supply chain planning, proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• C.P.I.M/C.P.M. certificate preferred.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Supply Chain role, specifically in requirements/production planning or master scheduling.
• Experience with computerized manufacturing planning systems (MRP, ERP).

Responsibilities

• Release manufacturing orders for production material and floor stock items.

The KRS Division of Polymer Concepts Technologies PBY, Inc. is responsible for Aerospace and Industrial seal applications with a global responsibility for Sales, Manufacturing, Business development, Product and Process Development. The KRS Division has a customer portfolio that includes all major players in the Aerospace industry. Our business is fully customer focused,with products specifically designed for a jet engine application, produced in small quantities and small lots on highly flexible equipment. Extreme product range fragmentation, complex product design, very high-quality standards and traceability requirements are the peculiarity of the KRS Division.

We are looking for an IndustrialProduction Plannerto join our crew in Hanover, PA.

The Industrial Production Planner is responsible for the development and implementation of production and manufacturing schedules for industrial products, to meet customer requirements and to maintain proper inventory levels. This will require constant interface with Operations, Engineering, Quality and Sales Departments.

Essential Job Functions

• Follows and supports all the Company’s safety, quality and company policies.
• Responsible for acting on order releases action and exception messages from the ERP system.
• Plans and manages production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company’s productive capacity.
• Manage ProdPlan worksheet for monthly production targets and individual item status.
• Negotiate production bottlenecks with area supervisors and other department planners.
• Responsible for the analysis of sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
• Responsible for the management of inventory levels, schedules and availability of selected items, either manufactured or purchased, to meet production schedules.
• Complete shipping information and delivery date input during Sale Order (Contract) Reviews.
• Review and answer termination or cancellation requests from Sales.
• Review work in process material sweeps from production floor.
• Receive and review Sales Orders against current requirements and work in process.
• Release Manufacturing Orders for production material and floor stock items.
• Interface with manufacturing personnel, the Purchasing Department and Supervisors on material status and production planning issues.
• Performs special projects as directed.

Additional Duties

• Complete other duties assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• C.P.I.M/C.P.M. certificate preferred.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Supply Chain role, specifically in requirements/production planning or master scheduling.
• Possess strong skills using MS Office programs, including Excel, Word and Power-Point.
• Experience with computerized manufacturing planning systems (MRP, ERP).
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to ITAR Compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industrial or manufacturing production planning experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with ERP system, Business Central preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with management, operations, inspection, and customers.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings, technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
• Ability to effectively present information to plant management and executive management.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret customer specifications.
• Ability to reduce cost through better manufacturing processes.
• Ability to lead and train others (e.g. production operators).
• Ability to do time studies.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments/tasks.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.
• Regular on-site presence at Hanover, PA location.
• Work is performed in an office environment while supporting manufacturing and industrial environment.
