Job summary

Recology San Francisco is seeking a Performance and Process Improvement Leader to drive productivity and quality across operations. You will analyze data, coach plant managers, and implement industrial processes from inception through startup and certification.

Collaborating with General and Operations Managers, you will develop best practices, monitor costs, and report results to the management team. A strong analytics and QA background is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three years of experience in an analytical role such as strategy consulting or business operation, or equivalent.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and strategic business judgment.
• Computer programs, including Microsoft Office, and using data to inform priorities.

Responsibilities

• Establishes performance objectives and provides coaching to improve performance and growth.
• Provide direction to plant managers to ensure quality and productivity goals.
• Work with data sets to investigate key business trends and metrics to improve efficiency.
• Develops and optimizes industrial processes from inception through startup and certification.
• Designs, runs, tests, and updates systems and processes with data-driven assessments.
• Collaborate with General and Operations Managers to implement best practices and improve output quality.
• Review process efficiencies to correct issues impacting costs and delivery schedules.
• Provide QA guidance and technical direction on the QA program at the MRF.
• Manage vendors and assist with contract negotiations.
• Direct timely resolution of schedule initiatives and report results to management.
• Communicate interdepartmentally via analytically driven insights and provide process documentation.
