Job summary

Central States Industrial (CSI) seeks an Apprentice Electrician in Springfield, MO to install electrical systems for processing skids in the food, dairy, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. You will work with Engineering and Project Managers on scope and design changes, support shop crews, and manage multiple projects with some outside subcontractors.

Strong communication and customer-service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year of journey-level electrical experience.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Computer proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets and databases.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical for processing skids in food, dairy, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.
• Meet with Engineering and Project Managers to assist with scope and design changes.
• Support shop crews and coordinate multiple projects, including occasional outside subcontractors.
• Maintain clear written and verbal communication with coworkers, customers and vendors.
