Job summary

Simmons Animal Nutrition, Inc is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Technician to design, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC-based electrical systems in a fast-paced plant environment.

Responsibilities include programming PLCs, maintaining control panels, and ensuring safety and NEC/IEEE/IS0/ISA/ANSI/IEC compliance across projects. Technical education in electrical systems is required; experience with poultry or pet-food processing is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in PLC and TLC networking experience.
• Proven knowledge of networking and industry standards (IEEE, ISO, ISA, ANSI, IEC, NEC).
• Minimum education in electrical systems; technical/vocational training in related field.

Responsibilities

• Designs and maintains electrical systems for plant equipment and PLCs.
• Troubleshoots and maintains control panels with focus on power distribution and motor control.
• Reviews blueprints, schematics, and drawings to ensure compliance with safety standards.
