Job summary

The Kelly Group in Marion, Arkansas is seeking an Industrial Plant Maintenance Worker with 2–3 years of grain handling experience to maintain and repair processing equipment in the surrounding area.

Responsibilities include maintaining belt conveyors, bucket elevators, grain cleaners, and other mechanical equipment, performing rigging and hoisting with cranes, and ensuring safe work practices. Equal opportunity employer and competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of plant maintenance experience in grain handling or processing.
• Experience with belt conveyors, bucket elevators, drag chains, and grain cleaners.
• Knowledge of bearings, tolerances, and taper locks.
• Familiarity with safe work practices.
• Welding SMAW and torch use are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment on conveyors, elevators, grain cleaners, and related machinery.
• Rig and hoist materials using cranes and hand signals.
• Dismantle/install machines, structures, and equipment with appropriate tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance and condition monitoring.
• Adhere to safe work practices and keep work area clean.

Job description

The Kelly Group is seeking an Industrial Plant Maintenance Worker for its Marion, Arkansas, location and work in the surrounding area. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of plant maintenance experience in a grain handling and/or processing environment.

This position requires the ability to perform these essential duties:

• Perform equipment maintenance on various types of mechanical equipment, including belt conveyors, bucket elevators, drag chains, grain cleaners, screw conveyors, etc.
• Show familiarity with different types of bearings and setting tolerances and taper locks
• Perform rigging and hoisting to properly move materials via the use of cranes and/or hand signaling to an operator
• Perform and demonstrate the ability to complete work using safe work practices
• Dismantling / installation of machines, structures and equipment using appropriate tools

Additional desired qualifications sought include:

• Capable of performing welding (SMAW) work and using a torch
• Ability to fabricate iron
• Plant and preventive maintenance experience
• Ability to align shafts utilizing a laser alignment tool
• Ability to perform belt splicing and maintenance for conveyors and bucket elevators
