Job summary

The Tindall Corporation in Buchanan, GA is seeking a Plant Maintenance Mechanic for the 1st and 3rd shifts. You will perform preventative maintenance and routine service on all equipment to keep production running smoothly.

You must follow safety and quality rules, perform daily checks, change oil and filters, inspect batteries and hydraulics, and document readings on daily checklists. Prior experience is not required beyond 1–3 months training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related maintenance experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment and quality products.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as required by the program.
• Scheduled maintenance includes oil/filters changes, grease rolling stock, inspect coolant and power steering fluid levels, inspect transmission oil level.
• Perform daily maintenance checks: oil/coolant levels, air filters, grease rollers, drive chains, batteries and tire pressures.
• Drain and clean air tanks and document readings from daily checklists.
