Job summary

Harsco Environmental is seeking a safety-focused Laborer to support daily operations at our industrial plant site. Responsibilities include housekeeping, material handling, and operating off-road haul trucks, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

The role requires physical fitness, ability to work in varying weather, and willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with a valid driver's license and background check ability.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screen required
• Ability to work safely in a heavy industrial environment
• Physically demanding work including lifting, bending, standing for long periods
• Valid driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant grounds, roadways, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition
• Perform housekeeping and site cleanup tasks
• Operate off-road haul trucks and other mobile equipment safely
• Assist with loading, transporting, and dumping materials
• Perform basic equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Follow site rules and safety procedures while operating equipment
• Support environmental compliance by controlling spills or waste as directed
• Complete safety trainings and participate in safety meetings
