IGS Industries, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Industrial Plant Custodian for daylight shifts in Meadowlands, PA. The role focuses on cleaning and maintaining a safe, orderly manufacturing environment.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM with no rotating shifts, supporting operations across multiple facility locations. Wage is experience-based with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, life insurance, paid time off, 401(k) with match, and company perks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or relevant work experience.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum floors and keep facilities clean.
• Service and maintain restrooms, conferences, and break rooms.
• Inventory and requisition janitorial supplies; manage trash and cardboard.
• Dust and polish furniture, walls, machines, and fixtures.
• Assist with event setup and snow removal as needed.
• Alert management to property damage and safety concerns.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Industrial Plant Custodian to join our team. This position is perfect for candidates with hands-on experience who enjoy working in a dynamic, manufacturing environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that our facilities are clean and orderly. The primary purpose of this position is to perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, collecting trash from each department, maintaining facility restrooms, sanitizing and disinfecting surfaces, vacuuming, collecting and compacting cardboard.

What You’ll Do

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Maintain conference room, and break rooms.
• Service, clean, or supply restrooms.
• Inventory janitorial supplies.
• Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning.
• Submit janitorial supply order as needed.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment.
• Use trash and cardboard compactor, as needed.
• Sanitize heavily touched surfaces.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Assist with set up or removal of decorations, tables, chairs and/or ladders, to prepare facilities for events, such as banquets or meetings.
• Assist with the removal of snow from sidewalks using snowplows, snow blowers, or snow shovels, or spread snow-melting chemicals; as needed.
• Clear debris from grounds.
• Alert management of property damage.
