Job summary

ServiceMaster Action Cleaning is hiring a reliable plant janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across the facility and adjacent buildings. You will follow our approved cleaning processes, use PPE, and arrive on time in uniform to support a positive work climate.

The role requires 1 year of janitorial experience, ability to lift 25 lbs, a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation, and a TWIC card or ability to obtain one. OSHA familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in janitorial services.
• Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment.
• Excellent stamina and physical health and able to lift 25 lbs.
• Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic.
• Background checks and drug screen will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the buildings.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and break areas, ensuring they are well‑stocked with supplies.
• Adhere to all safety, security, and quality standards established by the company and regulatory authorities.
• Use proper PPE where required.
