Job summary

ATI in Cudahy, Wisconsin is seeking a 2nd shift Industrial Pipefitter to install and repair piping and associated equipment for plant operations. This role runs Monday–Friday, 3pm–11pm with voluntary overtime and includes training for 1–2 months on 1st shift, 7am–3pm.

You will work from drawings and specifications to install, maintain and repair steam, water, gas, and other pipelines, using a variety of hand and power tools, while adhering to safety and IAMAW apprenticeship guidelines.

Qualifications

Three or more years of pipefitting experience or journeyman certification.
Qualified to weld in accordance with ASME section IX, QW 300.
Ability to weld, braze and solder.

Responsibilities

Installs and assembles piping equipment from drawings and uses measuring tools.
Performs preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
Assembles and installs gas, water, sanitary and other equipment with supports, hangers or foundations.
Sets up and operates pipe cutters, threader, power drill or hand drill, saws.
Must be capable of performing all work as described in the IAMAW labor agreement for an Industrial Pipefitter Apprentice.
