Custom Pipe and Fabrication is seeking a Painter II to prepare pipe surfaces and apply protective coatings to the exterior of pipes at our Grand Island facility. You will perform intermediate painting tasks while maintaining high-quality standards and strict safety practices.

Responsibilities include surface prep, paint application, quality inspections, and light equipment maintenance. You will also document daily production metrics and assist Painter I as needed, contributing to efficient

Qualifications

• Proven experience in painting with solvent-based paints, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to paint application and chemical handling.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and follow instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Physical stamina for standing, bending, and heights.

Responsibilities

• Surface preparation and paint application for pipes and tubes using spray guns, brushes, or rollers.
• Conduct quality inspections and perform touch-ups as needed.
• Record daily production metrics including paint usage and hours.
• Maintain and troubleshoot painting equipment and booths.
• Mentor Painter I and ensure adherence to safety standards and cleanliness.
