Initial duties include reading plans, laying out piping, fabricating joints, and coordinating routing around utilities. The role involves both outdoor and indoor work on site in Casper, with a focus on safe, precise installations.

Qualifications

• Previous pipe fitting experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
• Experience with treatment plants is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans, blueprints and sketches.
• Construct, lay out or plan piping assemblies with respect to walls, structures and obstructions.
• Construct various types of pipe joints for high or low-pressure systems.
• Cut, fit, fabricate, and assemble CPVC/PVC and related articles.
• Coordinate routing around existing buried utilities and work around heavy equipment.
• Set pumps and other related industrial equipment; layout and installation of supports.
