Job summary

Health and Safety Council® is seeking a Paramedic to assess injuries, provide emergency medical care, and perform occupational health testing in ambulatory clinic settings with extensive travel across the United States.

The role requires licensure, ongoing certification, and the ability to operate critical medical equipment. Candidates must be able to work independently in varied environments while maintaining confidentiality and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be available to travel with short notice and stay on-site for extended periods.
• Certification and state license required.
• Proficiency with Windows Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical services at various sites around the US as needed.
• Observe, record, and report patient condition and response to treatment.
• Perform first-aid and emergency diagnostic procedures.
• Operate EKGs, defibrillators, and resuscitation equipment in advanced life support environments.
• Administer drugs as directed by a physician; facilitate telemedicine.
• Manage a telemedicine system and respond to after-hour calls.
