Energy Management Corporation in Salt Lake City, UT seeks an Experienced Electric Panel Builder to assemble and wire control panels for factories and commercial buildings.

You'll read schematics, install components, test systems, and work with engineers to ensure code compliance and reliability. This hands-on role offers solid pay, benefits, and growth opportunities through on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong ability to read schematics and layout drawings.
• Familiar with UL/NEC electrical standards.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand all day.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Build and wire control panels, motor control centers, and power systems.
• Mount and install breakers, contactors, relays, PLCs, and more.
• Test your work to ensure safety, code compliance, and proper operation.
• Troubleshoot wiring or component issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to resolve build hiccups.
• Maintain a clean and safe workstation.
• Support field installs when needed.
• Update drawings when changes occur to guide the next builder.
