Unified Defense is seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to prepare surfaces, mix paint, and apply coatings across various projects in Byron, GA. The role emphasizes quality and safety and requires attention to detail and teamwork.

The weekend 1st shift (Friday-Sunday, 6:00am-6:30pm) offers 36 hours paid as 40 hours, with opportunities to maintain and operate painting equipment and meet project standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as industrial painter or similar role.
• Pass tape measure test for accurate measurements.
• Pass paint test to demonstrate proficiency.
• Knowledge of surface prep and painting methods.
• Ability to mix paint per technical data sheets.
• Understand spray gun functions and adjustments.
• Commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete surface preparation for multiple painting projects.
• Mix paint for several jobs according to technical data sheets.
• Apply paint with a spray gun to achieve a smooth finish.
• Follow safety standards and keep within guidelines.
• Inspect painted surfaces for defects and address issues to meet quality.
• Perform basic maintenance on painting equipment and address minor issues quickly.
