Job summary

gpac is seeking a 2nd shift Industrial Painter & Team Lead to join our aerospace and defense manufacturing operations. Lead a four-person team, perform industrial and related painting tasks, and ensure quality and safety.

The role offers on-site work with a 3:30 PM–12:00 AM schedule, 4x10s/4x12s options, potential weekend overtime, and a 20% second-shift differential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial painting, preferably automotive, aerospace, defense, or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, ideally supervising or leading a team of approximately four employees.
• Experience training employees and helping team members improve their skills.
• Experience performing quality checks or inspections.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• A hands-on attitude and willingness to lead by example.

We’re looking for an experienced 2nd shift Industrial Painter & Team Lead to join our industrial painting team supporting work in the aerospace and defense industry.

This is an opportunity for an experienced industrial painter who is ready to take the next step into a hands-on leadership role. You’ll help lead a team of four, support training and development, maintain quality standards, and keep communication strong across shifts.

If you have experience in industrial painting, automotive painting, or defense-related painting and have successfully led a small team, we want to hear from you!
