Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Warehouse Painter to prepare surfaces, apply coatings, and maintain the appearance and safety of warehouse facilities. The role requires knowledge of painting techniques, surface prep, and safe handling of paints and equipment.

Responsibilities include priming, applying coatings, inspecting surfaces, and performing touch-ups while maintaining tools and adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in commercial/industrial painting.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and safety instructions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, climb ladders and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching and priming.
• Apply paints and protective coatings using brushes, rollers or spray equipment.
• Paint warehouse walls, ceilings, floors, doors, shelving and equipment.
• Inspect painted surfaces and perform touch-ups or repairs as needed.
• Mix and match paint colors according to specifications.
• Maintain painting tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow safety procedures when working with chemicals, ladders, lifts and scaffolding.
• Ensure work areas are clean and organized after completing projects.
• Report maintenance issues or supply needs to supervisors.
