Environmental Air Systems, Inc. seeks skilled painters for our manufacturing shop. Responsibilities include preparing paint surfaces, mixing paints, and applying coatings to structural steel while following all safety policies and procedures.

The team values experience in auto body or industrial painting, with additional Bondo/repair skills a plus. Proficiency in English or Spanish is required, along with the ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in variable heat and noise

Qualifications

• Reading and speaking proficiency in English or Spanish required.
• High School Diploma or GED or related experience in Industrial or Auto Body Painting as determined by the plant manager.
• Auto Body painting experience is a plus.
• Bondo/Repair experience is a plus.
• Good verbal communication with employees.
• Positive attitude and openness to improvement.
• Ability to take on more responsibility as the business grows.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods.
• Ability to work in varying heat and cold with noise levels at or above 90 dB.
• Ability to work at heights using ladders and lifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare paint surfaces.
• Mix paint.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Roll/brush paint on structural steel.
• Caulk as needed.
