Job summary

Turner Industries in Pace, FL is seeking a Painter to prepare surfaces per specs and apply protective coatings on assets to prevent corrosion and ensure product integrity. This non-exempt role reports to the Foreman and follows client specifications and safety requirements.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, preferred experience with industrial coatings, and post-offer drug/alcohol screening. The position requires PPE use, ability to lift 30–50 pounds, and readiness to work in varying

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred experience with industrial coatings operations.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Job site safety requirements as required by the client.
• Safety equipment as required by the client.
• Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to health or safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces per specification to ensure proper adhesion.
• Use various surface prep methods (solvent, hand/power tools, water jet, abrasive blast).
• Apply protective coatings to assets for corrosion prevention and product integrity.
• Use coating methods including brush/roll, spray, airless spray, trowel, etc.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
