Job summary

Yanmar Compact Equipment North America, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MN is hiring an Industrial Painter to prepare raw materials and spray surfaces on machines and manufactured products using paint, enamel, glaze, gel-coat, or lacquer in a safe, efficient manner.

This full-time, non-exempt position reports to the Area Paint Manager and offers a starting wage of $22.81 per hour plus a discretionary bonus up to 6%. Work schedule is Monday through Thursday with a comprehensive benefits package, and a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six+ months' related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: independent work, attention to detail, understanding of paint processes and equipment, commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, operating, and maintaining paint application equipment.
• Applying liquid and/or powder coat paint in accordance with YCENA paint standards and practices.
• Transporting, loading, and unloading parts to be painted.
• Sanding, grinding, reworking, and preparing surfaces for paint.
• Maintaining proper documentation and paperwork per the paint process.
• Use of various tools and equipment including paint guns, pressure washer, and fixtures.
