Job summary

Arcosa Wind Towers is seeking skilled Painters for the night shift in Tulsa, OK. Responsibilities include preparing materials and applying finishes with spray equipment to metal and other surfaces.

You will adjust spray guns, monitor viscosity, and maintain paint lines while adhering to safety rules and curing processes. Candidates should have 1 year of paint experience or be eager to learn, with basic knowledge of mill gauges and pressure monitors and fluent English communication.

Qualifications

• 1 year paint experience or ability to learn paint process quickly.
• LEAN standardized processes knowledge or ability to learn them.
• Basic knowledge of mill gauge and pressure monitors or ability to learn them.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operates conventional and airless spray equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and other surfaces.
• Mixes and applies alkyds, epoxies, gel coats, powder coats, urethane, zinc epoxies or water borne paint systems per formula.
• Adjusts nozzles on spray guns to achieve proper dispersion and monitors flow/viscosity of paint.
• Cleans paint lines and guns; performs preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Regulates temperature and air circulation in drying ovens.
• Understands curing process and follows safety rules; may participate in safety initiatives.
• Supports a positive working culture through teamwork and professional conduct.
