Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is partnering with a well-regarded client in Romulus, Michigan to hire an experienced Industrial Painter with 3-5 years of experience. The role pays $20-21/hour based on experience and is on the 1st shift (Monday-Thursday 7am-5:30pm) with occasional overtime.

Essential duties include reading blueprints, estimating materials, scaffolding setup, tool maintenance, and using hand and power tools to complete projects.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or related field preferred.
• Three years’ experience in the building trades or production is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with employees concerning work orders, prints, and sketches to understand the structure that needs to be built or repaired.
• Estimates equipment, tool, and material requirements for each job.
• Operates all necessary tools to complete a job.
• Prepares and dismantles scaffolding as needed.
• Ensures tools and equipment are cleaned, stored, and maintained for safety and performance.
• Uses hand and power tools to build assigned projects.
• Joins materials with nails, screws, staples, or adhesives.
• Checks accuracy using levels or framing squares and corrects issues.
