Job summary

Catalytic Combustion Corporation in Bloomer, WI is seeking a Production Painter to operate a paint pot and spray gun, applying industrial finishes to metal parts in a safety- and quality-conscious environment.

You will prepare surfaces, mix primers and paints, and maintain equipment. Two shifts are available: 1st shift M-Th 6:00am-4:30pm and 2nd shift M-Th 4:30pm-2:30am, with a $5.00 per hour shift differential.

Qualifications

• Completion of a one year painting/autobody program or equivalent or one year painting work experience is required.
• Follow verbal and written instructions; routine, repetitive tasks.
• Use arithmetic; add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, decimals, percentages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for paint including wipe down of parts with cleaning solvent.
• Mix primer and paint according to specifications.
• Clean and maintain painting equipment.
• Properly store flammable products and properly dispose of waste paint products.
• Inspect and record manometer readings of the paint booth.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of paint booths. Change filters, maintain walls and floor coverings.
• Inspect and maintain respirator and PPE.
