Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a painter on industrial construction projects.
• Ability to read blueprints, plans and drawings.
• Knowledge of painting materials, coatings and their properties.
• Ability to mix paints and apply coatings as required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willing to work overtime and follow safety rules.
• Follow site rules and bring required tools.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specifications to determine scope, quantities, and materials.
• Identify tools required for tasks.
• Identify safety risks and precautions required.
• Measure, mark, and cut materials per specifications.
• Identify and mix paints and coatings as required.
• Know painting techniques and coatings application.
• Work safely at heights with ladders and scaffolds.
• Set up and operate painting equipment and hoses.
• Clean up and maintain blast/paint areas.
