Qualifications

• Must read and understand paint sheets, work orders, labels, and safety instructions in English.
• Previous industrial painting experience preferred.
• Experience operating airless paint spraying equipment.
• Ability to apply paint coatings to fabricated metal products.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow customer and work-order specifications.
• Ability to adjust to changing work priorities, meet production schedules, communicate effectively, and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Remove old decals, labels, loose rust, and other material that may interfere with proper paint adhesion.
• Prepare fabricated products for painting.
• Apply Water Reducible Gloss Enamel to fabricated products using an airless paint sprayer.
• Properly use required PPE, painting equipment, paint, and primer.
• Ensure surfaces are adequately prepared before applying coatings.
• Apply customer labels and decals to finished products in the correct location and orientation according to work order requirements.
• Maintain painting equipment, pumps, tools, and work areas in proper working condition.
• Coordinate with managers and other employees to complete work orders efficiently, on time, and without defects.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

The Industrial Painter is responsible for applying coatings to finished fabricated products in accordance with work orders and customer requirements. This position operates airless painting equipment and reads paint sheets and work orders to determine the required paint color and specifications.

The Industrial Painter is expected to meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards and following all company safety policies and procedures.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-4:00 PM.
