Job summary

US Tech Force is seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to prime, paint, and coat large steel and metal parts in our busy shop, following customer specifications. The role requires attention to detail, safety discipline, and the ability to mix paints and apply using conventional and airless equipment; experience with epoxy, urethane, and polyurethane coatings is a plus.

Candidates should be prepared to lift at least 25 pounds, work at heights after probation, and adapt to varied shop

Qualifications

• Must have experience priming, painting, and coating large metal parts according to customer specifications.
• Attention to detail is essential to avoid runs and quality issues.
• Safety and cleanup practices are mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of quality control and use of wet mil gauges is beneficial.
• Experience with epoxy, urethane and polyurethane coatings using conventional and airless methods.
• Ability to mix paints for easier application.
• Experience with wet paint and powder coating is a bonus.

US Tech Force is looking for an experienced Industrial Painterfor priming, painting and coating large steel and metal parts according to customer specifications.

Industrial Painter Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Prefer knowledge of paint production warehouse and/or heavy industrial background.
• Conventional and airless painting experience are a plus. Attention to detail is mandatory to avoid runs, skips and other quality issues.
• Must also be conscientious of safety and clean-up.
• Basic knowledge of quality control practices and experience with wet mil gauges is beneficial.
• Both conventional and airless methods used for epoxy, urethane and polyurethane paints.
• Experience with mixing paint for ease in applying.
• Knowledge of anticipated drying times and correcting of flups when necessary.
• Previous experience in both wet paint and powder coating a BONUS!

• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Some jobs require working at heights that exceed 20 feet (after 90-day probationary period).
• Areas of the shop can be hotter or cooler than others
