Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years related experience in desktop/plant IT support.
• Experience with Windows operating systems and office suites.
• Experience with Citrix desktop/client and network gear.
• Cisco switch configurations and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Knowledge of network cabling and connectivity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work in a plant/industrial environment and travel if needed.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on desktop and plant IT support in a meat harvest/processing facility.
• Manage servers, switches, cabling, and desktop systems at sites.
• Program Cisco switches for LAN and document the LAN layout.
• Document SOPs for site technologies and maintain network diagrams.
• Provide hardware and software diagnostics and support production floor systems.
• Support printers and other peripherals; assist maintenance staff with scales.
• Commit to IT projects in line with company standards; may include weekend work.
