Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Motor Winder / Motor Repair Technician in Millington, TN to rewind, repair, and rebuild industrial electric motors for keeping major facilities running. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical failures, operate winding machines and test equipment, perform inspections and document results while collaborating with skilled technicians in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Experience with motors, electrical systems, wiring, maintenance, or mechanical repair.
Trade: Industrial Maintenance Technician, Electrician, Motor Repair Technician, Diesel Mechanic, or similar.
Willingness to work overtime and participate in an on-call rotation.
Personal tools required.

Responsibilities

Rewind, repair, and rebuild industrial electric motors.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures.
Operate specialized testing and repair equipment, including winding machines, surge testers, core loss testers, VPI systems, cranes, brazing equipment, and more.
