Job summary

West Fraser is seeking an industrial millwright for its Angelina TX sawmill. The role involves repairing and maintaining various industrial equipment, ensuring a safe and high-performing work environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, along with necessary skills in cutting and welding, and must be willing to work rotating shifts. West Fraser offers a highly competitive compensation package that includes benefits starting on Day 1.

Qualifications

• Must have 3 years of Millwright work experience in Industrial/Manufacturing environment.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain industrial equipment including conveying systems and major machine centers.
• Read and understand drawings and printed instructions.
• Align machines and equipment using various tools.

Skills

Cutting torch experience (Oxygen/Acetylene)

Welding experience (GMAW and SMAW)

Safety oriented and compliance with ZES

Ability to work rotating shifts

3 years of Millwright work experience

High School Diploma or GED
