Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Installs machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings.
• Dismantles machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools.
• Moves machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• Assembles and installs equipment such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails using hand tools and power tools.
• Drills holes, aligns machines using hoists and precision tools.
• Assembles machines and bolts or fastens them to foundations or structures.
• Performs epoxy grout.
• Measures, cuts and installs hangers using hand tools and ladders.
• Loads, transports, unloads materials, tools, equipment and supplies.
• May assist in rigging, lifting, positioning, and securing of materials.
• Performs minor maintenance or cleaning activities of tools and equipment.
• Adheres to all safety procedures.
